Broomstick Lace Travel Hook Clutch

I've been really into broomstick lace lately, and I had a bit of yarn leftover from another project, so I whipped myself up a crochet hook clutch in broomstick lace.

 

It's really fun! The hooks are inserted through the eyes of the broomstick lace shells, and that's what holds them in place. And it works up quickly, too!

Seeing your post last night, it was to late to comment I am sorry, but it got me thinking, that a broomstick stitch would look gorgeous on the bottom of a baby dress. funny how things we see gets our minds working isn't it.
