Thank you, Katie!  That there is my youngest brother's wife.  I kept telling her I needed her to model for me  I got her to model some hats I tested for ShiFio too.  It's fun, almost like playing dress-up.  She'd never worn a shawl before, and I think she is now hooked

I have a friend who would just love it!  I 'm not familiar with the yarn you used.  What could you compare it to and what size hook did you use?

Thank you! It's a sport weight Pima cotton/bamboo blend, 60/40, meaning percentage of cotton to bamboo. I used an H hook.

If you can get it, it's not expensive.  Locally I paid $7.50 per skein.  It's a 50-gram skein with 116 yards.  I used less than four skeins.
