Sci-fi costumes

Hi all!
I've never shown anything other than things I've crocheted but I can also sew.

 

This weekend Mr Skoggy, Felicia and I went to a Science Fiction convention up here in Tyne and Wear. It was the first one ever held up here and it was a great day. Fancy dress costumes are encouraged at these kind of things so I decided that Felicia would be an Ewok, one of the little "bear" creatures from Star Wars.

 

I made this full body suit and the cowl.

 

 

Mr Skoggy didn't want to be left out so I modified existing clothes so that he could go as a Han Solo-esque bounty hunter.

I love Star Wars, so I love the idea of dressing in Star Wars attire! You did an awesome job on sewing the costumes and it sounds like a fun event.

That's the best costume of all!  I wish my mom had passed some of her sewing talent down to me.  I'll have to commission you one of these days for something special
