Mabel the Spoon Doll

[Tampa Doll]

A while ago a FGM found some doll patterns at the craft club she goes to.  One of the patterns was for Kitchen Spoon Dolls.  The pattern facinated me, so as soon as I could get the 12" spoons and the scrubbies, I made one.

 

This is one handy spoon doll.  she skirt and shawl are dish cloths.  Her hair is a scrubby and the hat is a plastic scrubbie with a rag brim.

 

I made the red whit and blue one, but ther are many different styles in many different colors.

I forgot to mention that the spoon is 12" long.  I had a heck of a time finding the spoon and the plastic scrubbie.  I ended up in Amazon.
