My first Stash Buster Tote

Back before Christmas I was given a bag of yarn, most of it was around 3oz skeins, some of it was crocheted into circles.  So, over the weekend the kids and I got out the ball winder and played with making yarn balls.  After having several, I thought these would be fun to make into totes.

Here is my first one!  The second one is over half done, I'll be starting on the handles in 2 more rounds.

My son has named this one Candy corn.

The circles, were yellow and orange.  I made this tote a little bigger than the pattern.  I made a booboo, watching Stargate SG-1 with the kids and then my glucose level dropped.  I added 2 extra stitches, but that is fine, the bag is nice sized.

This was a lot of fun to make.  I'll have my second one done later tonight.

dragnlady5, no its not a free pattern.  You can find the pattern on Ravelry the cost is $2.00, but it is well worth it.  Great pattern and very quick!

What a great way to use the circles that are already made!

Tell your son he picked out the perfect name for this cute bag!
