Any suggestions gor teaching a blind person to crochet

I'm going to be teaching my friend to crochet, who is blind. I have read a few things, but not much on this type of teaching. Any suggestions?

That's great that you are teaching someone who is blind to crochet! Alas, I only have experience teaching my sister, who is Deaf, how to crochet. If I come across any articles or anything about teaching blind people to crochet, I'll let you know. Good luck!

Funny you should mention teaching someone who is deaf to crochet.  I was going to ask for suggestions on just that also, but didn't want it to get missed.  I will be teaching a deaf friend also.  I'm only starting to learn to sign.  But she can read, write and text.  Any suggestions you have would be very helpful.  (And really strange, you have the same name as my friend).
