I crocheted these for my soon to be great nephew or neice.  I chose green because they call the baby Sweet Pea until it is born. They are done in thread and I found the pattern FREE on Ravelry>>>http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/infant-crochet-converse-shoes

 

I think they turned out well considering I have such a hard time following a pattern!!

So cool!  I'll definitely be making a pair for my niece/nephew due in August!  They're still waiting to find out the sex (baby wouldn't cooperate a few weeks ago), so I'll have to put it on hold until then.  Thanks for sharing!

I just found out mine is gonna be a nephew, also due in late Aug!!

Aww, what day?  My brother and sister-in-law are due August 29th.  I think it's going to be a boy for some reason, but I'm not confident enough to start making blue booties!
