Vroom Car Seat Tent

I have yet to think up a name for it, but Vroom Car Seat Tent will have to do for now.  I made this for my landlady to give to a friend that's becoming a grandma for the first time.  I didn't use a pattern except for the car appliques.  I used Caron One Pounder in a dark blue for the main body of the blanket/tent and RH for most of the edging, except that the white chain ribbon is a vintage yarn.  The handle straps are a dark green Bernat Super Value.  I happened to have the car buttons.  I made rough pattern notes.  If anyone is interested, I will share them.  I just ask that you use your own pictures and not sell the pattern itself, but other than that, you can do what you like with the finished product.

Edit:  I finished writing the pattern out.  My hats off to you pattern writers.  It's hard work.  Please keep in mind that it's not tested and it is still a rough draft.  I'll make changes and edits as I'm making the second one.  I'd be happy to hear comments or suggestions.  I have lots to learn

Thanks, everyone!  I'm hoping to make another one this weekend to double-check the pattern and make the necessary corrections.  As I had mentioned, the pattern as it stands right now is a very rough pattern.  After that, I think I'll get to work on writing a pattern for a teapot cozy I made for a swap.
