I use that method all the time,used the instructions from the book Join As You Go for the basic granny square, but they are very similar to the one on Attic24. I have done up to 323 two round squares (the basic instructions can be adapted to as many rounds as you wish) in one afghan and it was amazing how little time it really took. You will be hooked, pun intended, LOL.

Wow these are really great ideas! Check out the color burst afghan on you tube. He has a great idea for taking care of all those little tails. It's fantastic.
