Permutations cat runner

I made this to put on the back of one of my sofas where my cat likes to sit and shed. My hope is that I will be able to take it outside and de-fur it as needed more easily than I can the sofa itself. Here my final blog post about this adventure (with more photos), and here is the cat runner in all its completed glory.

Yep! Have 5 fur babies of my own so I feel so pain! That's why I am constantly washing whatever afghan is on the back of my couch. Never thought of just making a runner....great idea! Love how colorful it is!

What an excellent idea! I have a neighbor whose cat is always on the back of the couch, and I hear complaints about cat fur. Maybe I can figure out a good color scheme and make one of these for her!
