2012 Share what you made for Charity

Pull up a chair/grab something to drink and tell us what you made to donate in 2012 pictures are nice!!!!....:cheer

This past year or so I have been crocheting various items to donate well it's time to clean out the boxes that are getting full and I wanted to share a few pictures of the things I have made and a few items DD made as well to donate while she learned to crochet....

21 crochet shawls donated to Hospice (3 designs)

103 crocheted infant/toddler/kids hats (local homeless shelter)

47 Crochet Adult Hats (local homeless shelter)

3 cowls/14 scarves/2 pairs of gloves/4 hooded scarves (Adult sizes)(local homeless shelter)

I can not include pictures since I do not own a camera. I have an older computer. Its doe not upload or download.

Most of my crochet is for various local charities. Project Linus received 52

afghans,47 chemo caps to the cancer center,hat, scarf and mitten sets,40

to the local women and child shelters. Slippers to both the woman's shelter

and a local senior center.

There are always more needs than there are people to help meet them.

I did not take pictures of what I donated, but I think after seeing this post I might do that for this year. I did not crochet nearly as much as I did last year, but I was able to donate about a dozen pairs of booties, and about 6-8 baby blankets. I also donated two baby sweaters, but I don't think they will well received.
