15 projects in 15 days CAL

minwifeof4boys

Recommended Posts

The rules are....

starting Jan 1st you will work on one different WIP or new start every day for the first 15 days... and then repeat.. these can be quickies, long term projects, those squares that have been sitting in a bag int he spare room since 1996....

Lets list our 15 here and see how well we keep on task,... or not... it will be just fun to see what everyone has up their sleeve...

...and if it doesn't get done.... we all know looking at patterns and dreaming are half the fun of crochet any way:hook

Here is the beginning of my list. Can I throw a cross stitch day in there? I have at least 2 nearly finished cross stitch projects that are years old. (If I did a little digging, I'm pretty sure I could find more!)

I will continue to add to this list as I come up with more ideas.

1: (WIP) this is at least 5 years old) 63 squares afghan (using squares from several different Leisure Arts 63 squares books by Darla Simms)

2: (WIP) HDC double strand afghan for oldest grandson

3: (WIP) sideways baby sweater (Knit)

4: (WIP) Log Cabin afghan

5: (WIP) friendship afghan, I have all the squares bordered and need to sew them together and then border the entire afghan.

6: headband for DD, I made myself one last week, and she liked it so much that she asked for one too.

7: (WIP) learn to Knit Afghan from the book of the same name by Barbara Walker

Thanks and in that case, I'd better have a quilt day as well. I have a box full of squares I have made for various quilts that never got finished. I plan to either make them into a quilt that is a mish-mash of squares from different projects, or maybe some throw pillows or totes.
