Polar mittens

Here's what I've been working on for the past week.

 

 

These actually can be made in an evening or two, however, it is an original pattern, so it took me all week to work it out. Especially since my DD wasn't around all the time for me to check the fit (gotta love work and school.)

 

I posted the link to the pattern over in Original Patterns.

 

I used LB Polar Spun and a G-hook.

Thank you all for your kind words! Even as much as I enjoy hearing from you, I think the best praise came from my DD after finishing the second mitten last night when she said to me, "Mommy, you're the best maker!!!" She absolutely adores them (I think it's because of the yarn-- that Polar Spun is soooo soft!) <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/cloud9.gif" />
