"Fan-cy" baby afghan

Recommended Posts

This is the Fan-cy baby afghan from The Big Book of Crochet. Very easy pattern. I changed the border in the interest of time.

That is really pretty! What border pattern did you do for it?

Thank you everyone for your kind words!

I just went around a couple of times with hdc in blo, then I did a shell stitch. I was worried I wouldn't have enough yarn and I was short on time. It's sort of my go to border or sometimes the arcade one when I'm in a hurry.

Oh I just love it! The border is perfect too. I think I may have that book somewhere :think. I'll have to see if I can find it because I need to start working on a couple baby blankets here pretty soon. Can you tell us what kind of yarn you used?

Thanks so much! I used Berroco Comfort. It's quite soft and holds up well to lots of washings without pilling or getting fuzzy.
