prayer wrap swap gift

Hi everyone,

I need some help with a few things.

Lets start with saying I have done freeform before and made many projects but this one makes me want to scream!!!!!!!!

It is for our family yankee swap. So maybe I am trying to hard and now it is a mess and ugly, I feel. It has taken way to long to turn back now.

Any ideas?

The colors urrg!

I thought they looked good when I pulled them together. But now I am not to sure.

The yarn is ice bran for the main part and the cream in another mohair.

I am so ready to toss it into a pile and buy something.

I can take the critiques..

My next problem is if it works out I need some sort of card with a nice saying or something on it.

To include its a prayer wrap and what can be done with it.

I have not been here in awhile..I have been following the ville on Facebook..but my things have changed..I love the new categories.

I think you're right. It does look kind of strange. I've made items that I thought looked fine up close while I was crocheting ~ then when I put it on the back of the couch and stood back to look, OMG what could I have been thinking? If I get upset or start crying, my girlfriend comes over and takes a look, and starts laughing, cackling really, until she gets me laughing too. There's just times the ideas in our minds are not flowing out of our fingertips. But the next item will!

yeah last night i decides to take off the ends.

It was such a waste.

some nice yarn now trash, I did not even want to save it for cat toys.

I decided to keep the center and on each side add the cream mohair.

Don't worry, that happens to all of us. Hmm, what if I modify this pattern by doing x? Sometimes it works great, other times it's just a learning experience!
