Reversible Tunisian?

The item you're referring to is one of my pieces. I've been asked a handful of times if I sell the pattern for this. If there is enough interest, I will indeed sell the pattern, and likely a video tutorial to go along with it. The YouTube tutorial that someone else posted is close, but I work this scarf in the round, which uses a variation of the reverse stitch.

Thanks everyone for the tips and Loopdeedoo for responding. I love the reverse look!

I'd pay for the pattern. I'd pay for a tutorial on how to do this.

I searched all over the internet for how to do this the way you've done it and I can't find anything that replicates it - everything I've found isn't truly reversible, with each color distinct on both sides. Or I'm misunderstanding the instructions. :blush

Sorry for the delay in replying. I was on vacation. (And itching to have time to crochet , but didn't!)

I too have looked to see if anyone else was doing what I do with this stitch and scarf, and I haven't found anything yet. This is something that I hold very close to the vest, so to speak. But seeing that there have been so many views of this scarf (and others I make in a bulkier yarn), pins on Pinterest, etc., I think it may be the kinder thing to let my little secret out and sell the pattern/tutorial.

This is a very busy time of year for me though, with craft fair making in full swing. I'm aiming to have the pattern/tutorial ready by Thanksgiving weekend.

Hang tight, and check my Etsy shop as well as my Facebook page to around that time for an announcement and link to the pattern. I just joined up at this site, so I don't always remember to come back here to check for replies in this thread.

Here are my shop, Facebook and Pinterest links:

If you see any other designs of mine that you'd like to see patterns for, please let me know! My goal is to get as many patterns out as possible this winter.

Cheers,

Dee

  • 1 year later...

I came across a

video/tutorial by Amy Depew and it looks very good. I tried one with hdc and another with sc. Love the hdc!  It might be what you seek.
