Garage Sale success!!!

HAH! I finally found a garage sale that sold yarn and still had some by the time I got there!! I've struck out for about a month and a half but today was my lucky day!

They had lots of cotton for dishcloths so I got some scraps for some dishcloths. I'm going to be making some more for a friend of DH who is getting married. I got some dark blue that I don't know what I'll do with yet (prolly a hat or fingerless gloves).

 

The best though is this bulky yarn that is pink variegated. Its so soft and pretty and I know my sister will love it in a scarf for Christmas! Her favorite color is pink.

 

Its not much but I'm EXCITED!!!

 

Edit: I was so excited to post that I forgot to say that I only spent $8.50!!

I just love finding good yarn at a garage sale or yard sale! It may not be new right off the store shelf, but it's new to us. New colors, bargains, and more fun, instead of someone throwing the yarn away.
