Swirling bag

This was a fun bag to make - although it took me forever because I just kept putting it down. All in sc and using cotton - was hurting my fingers. You start off making a strip of one color and then adding strips as you go - sew the seams and then start the top part. I used ILTC in Stone Wash, Banana, Turquoise and Sage. One skein of each and plenty leftover of each color for something else. Pattern is called SWIRLING BAG by Kathryn Merrick. It was in the Fall 2009 issue of Interweave Crochet and also in the book "Crocheted Gifts: Irresistible Projects to Make & Give" by Kim Werker. Nice size for a smaller project.

Looks great.. Yes sometimes projects get overwhelming when doing the same stitch so I usually have 2 projects going at time to mix it up so I don't get to frustrated at a time
