Best brand of Wool Yarn?

Hello, I am now gearing up for the fall, and realizing that all of my fall/winter clothing is in the drab black/grey/dark brown palette.

So as I have previously only used acrylics in worsted weight, could anyone steer me towards the best brands for wool/wool blend yarn? I'd prefer a #3 (light) weight as I like to layer sweaters/shrugs over tshirts.

Check out Knitpicks. They have all kinds of yarns at reasonable prices. I've had wool blends, cotton blends and acrylics from them and never a problem. It's worth a peek on their site.

Jojoland Melody and Rhythm http://www.jojoland.com/do/menu/Select?topIndex=0&subIndex=3

Are really fun to work with because you get to watch the color changes unfold.

I have made a couple of things with it, here is one http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=136982&highlight=Jojoland

Dream in Color http://www.dreamincoloryarn.com/ also has gorgeous colors that are kind of mottled and work well in crochet. I made a hat http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=108833

http://www.theloopyewe.com/ has a search that lets you search by color.

For wool blends, I adore Plymouth Encore. I love the colors.

For wool, if you want a great wool at a cheap price, Patons Classic Wool is great! The wonderful thing, too, is that all those big box stores have sales, so you can get it very cheap.
