My first dishcloths

I finally finished my first dishcloths, they are about 10in by 10in. and I used Peaches n Creme cotton.

Aren't they fun? I also use dishcloth patterns for shower and bathcloths. People love them for gifts and are always surprised to receive these nice hand made gifts from you.

These were fun to do, and I want to make some for my mom, sister in laws, friends.....

 

I just cant seem to get myself to use them--I dont want to mess them up! ha ha!!

That is so true! You just want to look at the prettiness of them for a while sometimes. Then go ahead and use them ~ you'll love them! When I tried my first bathcloth, I was smitten. I couldn't wait to make lots and lots of my own, which I have.

 

Before trying my first cloth, I had heard many crochet ladies say once you try hand made, you will never go back to commercial cloths. I thought they were just talking up their favorite thing to make. But once I tried a cloth in the shower, ooooohhh! I was in love! Soft but scrubby. Perfect.
