Sharon Silverman's latest book, Crochet Scarves: Fabulous Fashions, Various Techniques, is much more than just a collection of beautiful scarf patterns. It is a celebration of texture and color as well as a great visual reference of all the stitches and techniques used in the scarves. Sharon has created an amazing variety of scarves, from simple to exquisite, from light and lacy to thick and warm. Even the most basic stitches, as well as the most advanced, are explained with detailed step-by-step photos. Beginners as well as experienced crocheters will be eager to sit down and start making the patterns in this book.

The first section of Crochet Scarves contains 21 scarf patterns, including step-by-step photos of special stitches. If you love crocheting from charts, you'll be happy to find that all the patterns in this book include a symbol chart. The second section of this book contains detailed instructions and step-by-step photos for every stitch used in the book and how to do Tunisian crochet. There is also a page describing how to read symbol charts.
