A wedding afghan

This is an afghan I made for my bff who was married last weekend. I used a flower square from the book:

200 Crochet Blocks for Blankets, Throws, and Afghans: Crochet Squares to Mix and Match - Jan Eaton and a plain granny square from memory. I joined them using the flat braid method. It's large enough to cover a twin bed.

Oh, that is so pretty!

I have two very close friends who will be getting married next year (quite possibly a third if he ever thaws out his feet and pops the question), so I'm wracking my brains trying to find an afghan that suits their individual personalities. So thanks for the link to the book as well!
