I seem to be obsessed with yellow this summer. Finished crocheting yellow placemats recently and this week finishing up an afghan strewn with yellow mums. And now, my bargain of the week -- a glorious bunch of yellow gladiolus for only a dollar. Since I'm in a condo, it's a real treat.

 

I always watch those markdown specials in Kroger's floral department (though not all the local Krogers have them). Last time it was $5 for a huge bunch of beautiful white roses that opened up and lasted for more than a week.
