how much would you sell a set of knitting needles and a cable needle

I've sold some sets that I no longer used and was able to sell them for 20.00 less then the 'new' price.

 

I also tried to sell some older straight needles I no longer used, but it would have cost more in postage then they could be bought new for, so I ended up donating them.

 

It pretty much depends on what kind of needles you are selling and how much of a loss you are willing to take.

I would go to the store, check out what the going price is for new needles of that brand, and then sell yours at a discount from that.
