My first cat was a beautiful gray tabby named Camille. She had gorgeous thick, soft fur and green eyes. She died in 2003, and I miss her still. So when I ran across a free shawl pattern named Camille by Cheri McEwen, well, of course I had to make it. And I had to find really soft gray yarn to make it. I found a Bernat Baby Softee called flannel, which was perfect. For those who don't like shawls with pointy ends that they think points to their butt (trust me, people are looking at the beautiful shawl, not your tuchus!), this is a crescent-shaped shawl that you can make as wide as you like. Very easy to follow (the initial leaf is confusing, but just follow the directions); it just took me three short nights of crocheting to make it. I love it!
