Just finished this afghan and ready to start another one with the same colors. The other one will be an Xmas gift for a couple who are getting married end of July.

This one is so much fun to do and so easy once you get the pattern going.:clap

Gorgeous! I just featured it on Crochetville's page, linking back to here. Can you share information about the pattern you used?

The pattern is from the Book, Learn to do Bavarian Crochet by Jenny King.

It is called Lavender Fields. It is one of AA books. I hope this is what you wanted to know.

And, thankyou!

That is just gorgeous! I have the book but haven't really looked at it long enough to learn how to do it. You have inspired me tho to pull it out and start one! I can only hope that mine will look half as beautiful as yours does! :cheer

I have the book, but haven't started one yet. maybe this winter.

What type of yarn did you use? I have heard that if you use worsted weight that it will be too heavy. I have considered sport weight, but have far more worsted weight to use up.

Oh and it is very pretty!!!!! Forgot to add that.

I had it saved in my cart, now I know I have to buy it....:hook

I used the Red Heart Classic yarn that it called for in the pattern on the front of the book. Its a nice weight and not heavy at all.

I did another one in baby colors and I used the brushed yarn, Rainbow Classic and it worked up nicely as well.

I am hooked on this pattern. Have fun making this one....
