Sherbert the Sock Monkey

Sorta......socks are made of yarn and so is Sherbert so I guess sock monkey applies. I just had fun with this. I have no idea what I will do with him.

I didn't have a pattern...I just started at the legs and worked up. I like to just eyeball things. He is made with thrift shop yarn too.

My goodness he is cute! I think what grabs me first is the smile. My GGD saw a traditional sock monkey when she was 2 and started screaming from fright. She was so afraid of it. I bet she wouldn't be of this one. Nice job and thank you for sharing it.

Awesome JOB!! I saw a few sock style monkey's at Kmart dressed in Military colors/Red-white-blue for fourth of July/graduation stuff and pink for breast cancer but I really like yours!!!!! Plus you could custom make those for sure in many prints great job
