Crochet/Bead Bracelet

In between making wrap bracelets with leather cord and beads, I made this for one of my GD's. It was fun but, it stretched easily and she is so petite (she looks like she's about 15 instead of 21)and is way too big now.

I used size 10 crochet thread and Size 2/0 Czech glass beads.

Next time I will use the Coats Nylon Thread.

 

The pattern was so simple:

Leave a long tail on each side.

Crochet a chain twice the length of wrist, minus 1" shorter (if wrist is 6"= make the chain 11" long not including tails), adding a bead in every other stitch. Fasten off.

Sc down each side of chain. Fasten off with long tails on each side.

Braid the 3 tails on each side and make a sliding knot for the clasp.
