Here is a simple crochet pattern for a washcloth or dishcloth. I call the pattern Corded Cloth because of the border which in done is reverse single crochet or crab stitch.

Thanks for the pattern Cindy. I read through the pattern quickly but didn't see anything wrong or anything I didn't understand. Of course that might change when I start crocheting it. I am currently working on a washcloth working from a pattern I found on the internet but I am adding my own twist to it. When I add my own twist to a pattern it takes me longer to crochet it. So I probably won't start on your Corded Cloth until tomorrow. Thanks again for the pattern.

Thanks everyone and I now have the picture of the cloth posted in the first post. The picture hosting problem has been resolved so the picture shows directly now.
