A life and sanity saving technique

A new technique that has saved my sanity...lifelines. A lifeline is a strand of contrasting yarn/thread woven through a row of stitches. The purpose of this lifeline is to give you a point to frog back to when you make an error. It is commonly used in intricate lacework but can be used in any project. there are videos here just scroll down to the fixing mistakes section and the video is using a lifeline For those who prefer written tutorials like me you can find one here I am only making a simple baby sweater but as it is my first wearable i had made a few errors before i found the information about lifelines. now i am putting them in every few rows once i know the row is correct. One important note if you have stitch markers do not thread your lifeline through them, go around it. I hope this tidbit will help someone else avoid the dreaded frog and completely restart any project.
