Sure glad Lucky is doing good. Yes the poor cone thing makes them wine. Diesel had to wear it and he looked so pathetic . I had Harlie in a metal crate but she busted through the top of it. No holding her in. She doesn't like thunderstorms when she is in the crate. If she's out and in my bed she is fine.

I made a PO run today and got my squares in the mail for our current queen.  Maybe they will get there before your reign is over.

Good news is.......we WILL have a new QUEENIE in Dec, starting on the first!!!!!!!!!

 

She was happy to accept, Im glad, Im always glad on whom the number generator picks, lol I love you all, and want to shower you all with squares, but sometimes me too, the postage grinch picks my pockets dry,,,sniff sniff.......But we will have a queen, and rein down on her all Dec. with squares!!!! Her prefs have changed up a bit, Ill update in Dec, ha ha ha, mean me, tee hee hee...

 

As for you all,  I do wish the best of the best for all your Thanksgiving dinners, and I will for sure list all of you, as one of my reasons to be thankful!! Friends, family, this forum and all of you, a roof, a bed, food, sheesh, so many things to be thankful for, i fear I will hog the floor when we take turns saying the things we are thankfull for, and make everyone wait to eat that bird!!!

 

I like the social part of this thread, it's wonderful, I feel I know you all like you were my neighbors, lol but I love making squares, and that is my indulgence, so I will take a cue from Ms.  Kuddles  and do them both to my hearts content!! for as hard as I came down on that  blankety blank shop vac,I'm surprised it wasn't black and blue,today the swelling hasn't returned like it did last evening after using my hand all day,its still a little tender,maybe by Monday it will be a distant memory

Hello everyone! No snow in our neck of the woods, but it is COLD! Okay, if you live in places with real winters, our cold is not your cold, but, for Southern girls, 26-30 degrees is cold!

 

The sashay scarves continue to sell. I am amazed, but not gonna question it! I got the ordered yarn in, made up a bunch of the scarves, filled the orders I had and more and more sold. I have to order more yarn, because of course, people want ones that are sold out!

 

I am bit by bit working on some squares to send out. My scrap stash took a big hit last month with a challenge in one of the FB groups I am in, so I am having to work on getting certain colors back in stock..I know, it is so sad to have to shop for yarn! LOL

 

To all those celebrating tomorrow...Happy Thanksgiving! I'll check back soon, I promise!

Hi, ladies!  I really have lots of catching up to do on the posts here and with my crochet.  I made an owl earflap beanie that I'm sewing together now.  It only took a few hours, but actually stitching the face onto the hat wasn't happening, lol.  I am not going to sleep until it's done.  Then I have some things I want to make for my sister's first-to-be grandchild (and my sister is only 38!) and also for my niece (the mom-to-be).  The baby shower is a week from Sunday!  I picked a bad time to lose my crochet mojo, didn't I?  Well, no more whining and no more waiting for inspiration to strike.  Looking at my WIP's, you'd be amazed that I complain about not being inspired.  I'm alive, I have a wonderful family, loving friends (around me and in cyberspace -- you!), and countless other things to be grateful for.  My mom would have a fit were she alive to see me now.  I'm making a potato salad and mashed potatoes tomorrow, and then I'm going to a sister's house.  I can hardly wait

 

Hugs to all those that are physically and emotionally hurting.  I hope all hands get better very soon.  I hope you all have a peaceful Thanksgiving Day.

Hi everyone... it was me. I was the one who requested to leave because I could never see where anyone replied. I don't really know how to use this thing and am trying to learn. So, I apologize if I was wrong.. I didn't mean to start any trouble. So, I apologize. I would like to continue to be in the group exchange. I can't crochet super big projects at a time because of my arms... I have trouble with chronic pain due to a connective tissue disease the doctors say I have. But, doing squares are somewhat easy, fast and small and you can do so much with them. And I love the idea of exchanging and getting something from someone else and see their creativity. Anyway, if I haven't offended you all to the point of no return perhaps I can try again. I do apologize and hope everyone has a great thanksgiving and to the lady who hurt or broke her arm I really hope you are ok. My elderly Mom broke her arm a couple years ago and it just broke my heart. She was left handed and broke her left arm, and she can't really use it the same now. So, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Anyway... I am sorry. Take care.

Let's see, I believe we had two doggies going to the vet's for surgery this week too!  Poor babies, hope they are feeling better.  It's so sad to see them wearing the cones of shame. They like to chew too, right?  My former BIL use to have a black lab that used to love to eat the gross, dirty, oil soaked lug nuts on the ground of our auto salvage yard!  They never seemed to bother her and nothing we did would break her of the habit.  Luckily we had a fairly clean yard.  Our yellow lab was also a chewer.  when he was a pup of about 6 months (shortly after we adopted him) he chewed a hole almost completely thru my kitchen wall!  Good thing he was so cute, lol.

Ive never used that things i follow deal, don't know how really, might try that out one of these days too!!

now another thing, in the reply box, is a blue button that says more reply options. this will take you to the post pictures reply, and its sort of self explanatory after that, just little things I had to ask about too, lol you can only post pics from this reply form

yawning now the cats are both snoozing full little tummies of turkey, and dreams of more tomorrow, lol They do love turkey.....and the doggie gets her share too, question for you all, what do you like best, white meat or dark meat,,,,We're white meat eaters here, usually just get the turkey breasts, but on Thanksgiving, we get the whole turkey, so the pets can have some dark meat too!! it doesn't go to waste, lol
