my crochet hobo bag

So I've been eyeing the Crochet Hobo Bag for weeks now.. I needed a new purse and I loved the look and really wanted to make one BUT... I don't sew. At all. Well, unless you count sewing my crochet project together, but other then that, I don't. Well last night after I put my kids to bed I sat down and started on it, determined to make this bag! I finished it a few hours ago, fully lined and all!

Thanks so much everyone. My niece saw it this afternoon and begged me for a purple one for her birthday. Sounds like it's time to take her yarn shopping hehe. Plus she wants me to teach her to crochet too. Yay. We started with chains today.. she's slowly getting it and excited too. It's fun teaching someone you is so eager to learn hehe.

Well done and congrats! you give me confidence for us non sewers to make a bag like this i have been procrastinating forever on making mine as new and other projects keep getting priority. i have yet to keep anything for myself, even the things i make for myself i gift away lol
