Love the bag.. Pretty fabric!

 

This is the first time i tried to sew a zipper. It really isn't that hard, but as with anything else, it always look so simple. I learned a few tidbits along the way and can't wait to make more

Very pretty. You certainly have come a long way with sewing...

I usually baste my zippers in first, then work them on machine. Especially if it is a curved area it is being sewn to...

That is a gorgeous bag!! Love, love, love the fabric--so bright and cheery!! Awesome job!! That would also make a great holder for crochet hooks!! :hook

Your make up case is so nice!! Congratulations on getting a zipper in! :cheer I have never tried to put a zipper in. I doubt I would ever be able to, either. :blush
