Nook Color Cover

Recommended Posts

post-38488-135897744903_thumb.jpg

I made this cover for my Nook Color. I made a cardboard nest to hold the Nook and then crocheted the cover to fit. It has a pocket on the inside and on the back and can be buttoned open or closed. The placement of the colors was accidental. I used scraps to make it and simply changed the color each time I ran out of yarn. It is about the size of medium to large sized hard cover book. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for looking!

Wow! I love it! This is my favorite of all the ones I have seen. I have a nook and would love to make a cover like this one. Do you have a pattern? Is it done in dc? :)

Thanks for the comments! I really enjoyed making this--it's the first thing I've crocheted in about eight months. Unfortunately, there is no pattern. This was one of those projects where I had a basic construction plan in mind and just jumped right in. My main goal was to make something that I didn't have to take the nook out of to read or charge. It was all made in single crochet and the entire cover was made in one piece. I'm thinking about making another so I can create a tutorial to post on my blog.
