Afghan in hibernation is finished

Here is an afghan finally complete. I had run out of lavendar and the color was discontinued so I couldn't match the same lavendar and thus, it went into hibernation for a long period of time. Lesson learned here is always buy alll the yarn needed at the same time for a project.-lol Finally, I found the perfect color to complete it when I came across the deep purple a while ago in Michaels.

 

I pulled it out of its storage bin and finally put it together. The recipient will be thrilled when she receives it.

I love the colors! I made the same mistake with a shawl I was making. I thought I had enough yarn and got about 3/4 of the way done and ran out....they ran out of the color, and never got it back, so I ended up having to order it online.
