Victoria Secret Dresses

I just got an email from VS showing their new spring dresses and they had a lot of crochet. I especially love this one: http://media.victoriassecret.com/product/prodpri2/V330578_2RB.jpg but it's way too short. Has anyone seen a pattern for a dress that might be simular and I can play with it to get it close to the VS one but longer and no dropped back?

You could just do a repeat of the skirt section to make it longer. It's very pretty.

The dress you linked to is actually knitted with crochet edging, even though they describe it as crochet.

 

For patterns i would look at the Interweave pattern store, and consider combining a skirt and top pattern to get the look you want. http://www.interweavestore.com/Crochet/Patterns.html?Attribs=18

I sorted that to be just for women, it includes things like bags also but i dont see a way to further sort it...i guess they want you to look at all of them lol

 

It seems like a lot of magazines, catalogs etc use the word crochet to describe anything with a lot of openwork, whether it is actually crocheted or not.
