Blending Yarns???

I need some advice. I have a bunch of Bernat Harmony left over and I'm stumped on another brand, type of yarn to use in addition to what I have. I'm pretty sure it will be a granny square or granny stripe blanket.

 

What yarn would you mix with Bernat Harmony? It's a thick bulky yarn but soft, almost fluffy. I thought about Homespun but after making a king sized afghan with that.....I think I'd rather crawl in a hole. Lol

I would think any type of bulky would work. Have you checked out the new yarn they have at KnitPicks.

 

It is Brava Bulky and it is only 2.99 a skein. From the reviews, it is really soft.

blending yarns of similar weight and fiber usually always works. So find something you like in the same weight!
