Help with Hairpin Lace

Hi! I am working on a scarf for the Red Heart Special Olympic Scarf Project. I made 6 strips of hairpin lace and attached them together by braiding the loops. I can't figure out what to do with all the loops at the end? How do I complete the final top edge of the scarf? Help Please! The deadline to hand them in is looming!
