I got the recipe for these from Taste of Home. My daughter and future daughter in law came over and we made them one night. It was lots of fun.

those are really nice.

I have a couple "cook books" that are full of those recipes and each year I say I'm making that, so far I haven't :(. Are they pretty easy? I'm sure there's alot of measuring to do!! But I like the finished look of them.

Wow!! Awesome!! Great looking jar gifts!! I love anything homemade!!! That has been on my "to do" list for sometime now!!:blush I even found the canning jars and lids at a yard sale a few yrs. ago(see how long I've been wanting to do these things!!):lol :lol

They were fun to put together, I would def. do them again. If U have time crocheting doilies for the top of the jars would be nice. I used wide mouth jars, and rolled up a paper plate to use as a funnel, to put the stuff in jars.

A few years ago, organizedhome.com had a *wonderful* forum, even bigger than this one. *sigh* No more.

 

But! The website still has LOTS of informative articles, including this one about Gifts in a Jar. Not just edible gifts, either....

Wow! Thanks for the link, gots lots of goodys on there. I have a ton of canning jars too. Used to can jellys and applesauce and tomato juice. Need to get back into it.
