Well, toomuchfreetime, I made that shawl in 5 days. We happened to go upstate to Renovo, PA, from North Walesl, PA...my hubby drove naturally.... I made all of the motifs on the way up, I cable crocheted the outter two motif rows together over the weekend and on the way home. The center motifs I worked my own way. I did not do it the way the directions told me to. I didn't like the way it laid. I worked the center part of the motif and the rose and then I triple crocheted the center motifs to the outter two cable rows. It lays much better.
