Bulky Yarn suggestion

hi, I bought some BEAUTIFUL black, gray, pink, white varigated yarn from Hobby Lobby; sorry, I don't remember who it's made by and I don't have it with me at the moment. It's a little difficult to work with as it is very thick. It reminds me of homespun, but thicker. I really wanted to use this yarn. Any suggestions on what I could do with it?

That sort of yarn is easiest to work with if you have a pattern where you work around the stitches, not into them. Like, sc, ch-1, repeat, then in the next row you put the sc into the ch-1 space. And BIG hook. Sounds like it would make a lovely scarf or cowl?

If its a soft yarn it would work for any number of things,hat scarf,cowl,

mittens. It will depend on the yardage and needle size. Have fun with it.

I think I had that yarn before. I made a shawl with about a K or L hook. It worked up nicely

I used size 11 circular needles and worked up a hat with that yarn. It was very nice to work with.

I have just recently picked up loom knitting (I know this is a crochet forum, but still ) and it makes great hats and scarves with bulky yarn
