Not usderstanding what this means?

I am making this pattern http://bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=2597 (cup holder) and I do not understand what Cont even maens?

Next row: (Inc 1 st in next st. K7) 4 times. 36 sts.

Cont even for 4 ins [10 cm] total length. Cast off.

Using a flat seam, sew side seam.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is abbreviation for continue even, in other words, just make the same number of stitches without increasing or decreasing, until it measures 4 in.
