Daughter's Poncho

Hi!!!

 

Here is a picture of the poncho I crochet for my daughter.

I had this yarn for a couple of years, I was going make a hat and scarf for her and never did!!! I had just enough yarn for the poncho.

I added the flowers.

 

The pattern is from Lionbrand--child's coming home poncho. I didnt have enough yarn for the scalloped edge called for in the pattern, so I made little scallops!

I love that pattern and ponchos in general. Made both of my granddaughters their own coming home ponchos too. I love yours and the scalloped edging looks great! Bet she will love it!

Aw the poncho is so sweet, I love the little flowers! I made an adult size poncho with shell stitches and it came out great, but I was wondering what would look nice as a child's poncho. You did amazing!
