Hello! Im from the most North Central part of Illinois and new to Crochetville! It is cold and rainy, and even though I should be cleaning my house, I am on Crochetville looking up patterns. Haha.

Yes, it is cold and rainy. I alos should be washing or cleaning house. But I rather crochet. Right now I am having a problem understanding some instructions. I joined Crochetville hoping I could get some help. About a 1-1/2 ago I signed up and didn't get much help at all. If it happens again I will join another forum.

Hello, how are you? Good I hope. I need some help, maybe you can help me out. I am in the process of crocheting a beautiful doll dress and I am stuck. I have been crocheting for quite some time and therefore, know how to join a rnd. However, the pattern I am working on says the following:

 

Ch 7, sc picot in last ch sp, ch 4, tr at base of first ch-7 of rnd (ch 4 and tr count as a ch 7), turn.

 

I have never joined a round like this, I am assuming that the rnd is being joined. Notice that the insturctions never says join. I am to do rnds 8-27 this way, but from the looks of the dress the Overskirt is not joined in the front. Have you ever worked with a pattern like this?
