Hi hollier2002, I have earring made of balene hooks, I did myself. I had 2 extra of the smaller sizes I got in a package from a friend years ago. The balene they used for crochet hookes about 10 years ago is a little different from the ones now. But I'm sure the same could be done from the present day balene hooks. Chopsticks might be another option, just get a craft knife an emery board and play. La Vonne

Those are very cute. They would make great stitch markers especially if each hook had a letter on them to help you remember what size hook you are using or numbers to help you keep count of your rows!!

I think they are adorable, and I showed them to my husband and asked him if I should email the seller to see if she had more. He told me they looked like phallic symbols... just what any self-respecting gal, especially a teacher, wants hanging from her ears. Oh well. Oh, and my other thought wasOUCH!
