Free Crochet Ribbed Scarf Pattern

Here's my all-time favorite eezy-peezy ribbed scarf pattern (designed myself):

 

using 10-ply yarn - for mine, I used Red Heart - any will do

 

 

NOTE - I crochet tight, so I tend to use a size larger than normal.

With size J or K hook, CH100 (CH200 for extra long)

 

ROW 1 - HDC in 3rd CH from hook; HDC across; CH2, turn

ROW 2 - **HDC in back loops of each HDC across**; CH2 turn

REPEAT ** till desired width; fasten off

 

add optional fringe or other trim as desired.
