Stuffed Football

Here's a stuffed football I made last year. I made it for Sis who was into fantasy football (and now has gotten me hooked on it too!). I believe the pattern was in Crochet with Heart (I can find the issue if anybody's interested). I used Vanna's Choice for this and I think it worked really well for it. I think I used a 5mm hook, so a little small for the yarn, which made the stitches nice and tight.

 

This thing's really difficult to photograph, so the pictures don't do it justice. It looks much better in person (IMO).

The pattern came from the October 2000 issue of Crochet with Heart. Not sure if it's still available anywhere...

 

Edit: Actually it looks like a couple of these are available on eBay.

Rosa, the pattern can be found in the October 2000 issue of Crochet with Heart. The issue should still be available online somewhere (I would try eBay first).
