Well, I finished the shawl yesterday.... I ended up doing it in a nice brown color (That was the color of the nice yarn on sale when I went to buy yarn. ) I hope to have pictures in a few days.... We are still looking for the digtal camera after the move.....

I know exactly the shawl you're talking about. I love that show, and the series of books. Sounds like it's be fun to make something inspired by the show, but I don't think I have much use for a shawl.

OKay I finally had a chance to work a bit on my Caroline Shawl. I am not sure if I like the stitch I chose ( picked one out of Harmony stitch guide). I am not so far along that frogging isn't an option....so .....

I did finish my shawl as well, you can check it out in the clothing show and tell section under Half Granny Square Shawl. I didn't make it red, as red isn't really my color, lol! It was really fun to make, and I am almost done another one for a gift for my mom. Of course, it's a different yarn and color. Thank you so much for sharing the 1/2 granny square pattern, it's quickly become one of my favorites!
