Those are AWESOME! The wool ones I have are HUGE and kinda oblong? Since I'm not leaking it's just for the mastitis, but should I be so blessed again I'm definitely taking a lesson from your lovelies! And the belly in the pic is soooo beautiful... TY for sharing!

 

i will post a pic of belly i took yesty.. god, this pregnancy is def taking its toll on me! how old is your little one?? my boys are 13 and 3 1/2 and yes, crazy woman is going again.. but Max was a suprise baby! was going in for a hysterectomy later this year, had double groin hernia repair in january and 4 weeks later fell preg.. found out at 10 wks. i have PCOS so i wa double shocked coz we didnt use fertility treatment!! hes a miracle bub this one!!

thank you for the lovely comment on my belly!! i feel like a jumbo hippo on steroids! lol. my first was 6lb 15, second was 10 lb 11, this one they say is little.. mmmmm we will see!!

specialist said last week i might not make it to 31 wks, so im making lots of things to prepare just in case! granny star are coming together well for his starry night cotton throw. got 22 in silver, and so far 4 in a gold/bronze color.. will take a pic of end product. hoping to get it done over the weekend.. just gotta work out how im going to attach them all together. mmm thinking cap needs to be pulled out of the draw for that one! lol.

Maggies due for Christmas Day, but will be c/sec before then. Mom has a blood clotting problem during pregnancy that means our local hospital won't touch her with a 10 foot pole. She has to go 2 1/2 hours to Greenville to have her babies, so they won't take any chances that things get started here at home.

Oh my.. poor thing.. I hope she has a fast healing time with the csection.. im having my second csection with Max too.. If I go early (before 34wks), which it definatley looks like I will, I have to go to a hosp thats over an hour away by car, quicker by ambo! The hospital that Im hoping to have him in can take us if I have him after 34 wks.. specialist said I will be lucky to get to 31 wks.. Im 27+4 today and only just hanging in there..

My mum gave me a bag of scrap wool that was given to her by a friend. Ive made a beanie and a pair of matching bootees. With cotton this morning I made a pair of mittens and matching bootees. Time is getting closer for this little man.. just gotta try and keep him in a little longer..

made a wipes cover for his nappy bag. had baby shower yesty and got LOADS of singlet tops, so now im going to have a look around and see if i can find some nice edging patterns.. doe anyone know of any that are free patterns? if not, im sure i may be able to make something up xxoxo

antenatal yesty, quick scan said hes so far down they couldnt see top of his head! Fluid im leaking may be slow leaking water.. may be here sooner than what we think!! gotta keep a vey close eye on it xoxo

G'day FrLopLady!

So far he is still in where he should be.. i went to the hosp yesterday, had shocking back pain and groin pain. after an hour of monitoring the doctor checked me and im now 2cm dilated and as far as I saw, the swab test said my water is leaking.. EEEKKK!!!

but, im home again.. my hips are slowly dislocating, no wonder it is agony to walk. hes so far into my pelvis my body is saying its time to deliver, so its at the point just before you deliver, but, coz im not in active labour, they wont do anything.. hes still wiggling around in there which is now twisting my hips too!!! Oh the joys of pregnancy! LOL!!

so, went and got a baby pillow the other day, last thing i had to get! only to find that you cant buy pillow cases for them! YAY!! just my luck! lol so, now, i have to hurry up and make some for him.. between trying really hard to sleep and being in shocking pain im slowly making the first one. its a blue green color. just dc stitch on one side, other side i will do a teddy granny square and extend the left and right side out to fit the pillow. should come up ok, i hope! I really need to update my pics on here dont i! as soon as i have 5 minutes where i feel good i will put some up!

Thank you, yeah, been a really hard pregnancy thats for sure! im 30 wks on thursday, that scares me a bit, one specialist said i wont make it to 30 wks, another said i wont make it to 31.. i have antenatal appointment on thursday, so will be interesting to see what the midwife says! i have my legs crossed still! lol.

WOW!! i must agree with you, the rabbit snuggie is very cute!! im actually thinking of doing one of these for a very good friend of ours that has just found out him and his partner is expecting a girl.. shes exactley 9 weeks behind me! its her 1st, his 5th.. he has all boys so will be interesting to see what hes like with a girl! lol

I do the same with little hat, i either make them too big or WAY too small!! lol, its absoultely gorg though!! the jacket is adorable!!

you have done a wonderful job on all of them!! lucky baby!!

WOW!!!! this set is just gorg!!! great job darl!!!!

i have been busy this weekend.. i had contractions and was back in hospital on Thursday, gave me morphine and sent me home.. NOT HAPPY.. they reckon i have an irritable uterus.. i know i definatley have a ****** of brain and hubby!! lol

 

ok, so the list of things ive made are.. 3 beanie hats, 3 pairs socks, i pair tube socks, 3 headbands and a little sleeveless cardi.. just need to put buttons on it. i will get a pic today and post here.. im trying to use up the girlie colors that i have.. hubby said, mmm dont think your putting any of that sh*t on my son! lol..

Just wanted to stop by and say I love all of the things you all have been posting about and the photos! I wanted to be an active part of this CAL, but bigger blankets have occupied my time the past couple months. Now I have to move on to my non-crochet crafts for Christmas. I went out this week and bought some pattern books for baby clothes. I thought it would be nice to add some variety to my NICU premie blankets. Anyway, I wish everyone a great weekend and hope to join this group in the near future!

thanks darl! yeah we are holding up atm, been a terrible time. was in labour at 24 wks 4 days. in john hunter hospital (mega huge hosp) for 3 days. said if i go again, they wont stop labor next time. im 26 wks on thurs and hoping with my legs crossed as tight as they can be with an engaged head between them, that he stays in for a bit longer.

my mum came up to "babysit" me and my youngest son yesty, i nearly finished making a cotton wavy sheet for Max s (bub) snuggle bed. just gotta do edging on it and then will post pics.

just gotts stich together some little toys that i made for his pram and that will be complete too. going to make some more premmie things in casse he does come early. made 3 little beanies and socks other day, they are little and cute. will take pics of all of them and post them soon.

 

peggy, wondering where you found the pattern for the bib darl, i would love to make a couple that style for my tiny man xoxo

Well, I kinda figured out a basic pattern for the bib as I wanted a pull over not a tie or button etc. Then I added the embellishments. I think the duck was from a Crochet World but the rest I kinda improvised.

Peggy85225 I love the bibs!! Those are super cute! I am also going to be making an afghan for a friend who is due in January and she likes frogs. I would love to have the frog pattern. Where did you get those?

 

 

Oh dear, thank you, but again I just improvised there is no written pattern for the frog, just used green yarn, made eyes and a super long tongue.

well, latest is.. im still huge butt preg mumma! lol. i was having contractions again at exactley 30 wks.. hubby flew home from work and took me to hosp. they were shocking contractions ones in the middle of my belly were 10 mins apart, ones at the top of my belly were 2 mins apart.. when i had them together.. oh my gosh!!! i swore many times! oops lol!

the midwives wanted to sent me to john hunter (huge hosp) and have emergency csection, but, a consultant (who was a down right bi*#h) told me she would check if i was dilating first.. i was then 2cm! i thought, ok, ive dilated 1cm.. im going!! midwives got paper work done, consultant said, your not in labor.. WHAT THE?!?!

she then told me that i was going to have a big shot of morphine and an iv drip to push fluids through and we will go from there.. ( i wasnt with it at the time of here telling me.. she could have told me anything and i would have not heard her properly..)

i got the injection and i had to go to the loo.. i stood up and thought i was going to vomit.. hurried as much as i could in the loo, laid back down and felt terrible, still in agony and contrating.. she came back in and told me i had to go home, they needed the bed, coz i wasnt in labor and they arent sending me to john hunter hosp.. i was MAD!!!

midwive came in and took iv out and said they are all cranky with what she had decided to do, but they unfortunatley cant over rule her.. i cried and said i understood and how its not fair.. (mind you when she was checking dilation, she split me too.. that really pushed me over the edge that did!!!)

so, i rang hubby and he came and picked me up.. i couldnt stand for long coz i wanted to be sick, it was terrible. got home, got into bed and poor Max was not good.. my mummy feeling was telling me it was going to be a really bad night.. i was right.. he had withdrawals from the morphine.. it was the worst thing ive ever felt in my whole life.. he was fighting so hard and must have been scared.. i felt terrible coz there was nothing AT ALL i could do... i cried all night and just had to wait it out with the poor little man :(

i had antenatal a few days later and the specialist said to me if he is still right down and my cervix is thinning even a little bit or dilating, they will take him at 35 weeks.. Yeah, heard that before!! (with my second!) otherwise, i have to wait until 38wks 5 days..

Im 32 weeks tomorrow so just waiting to see what happens now really.. time will tell...

i havent really done too much crochet the last week.. but when i did, i made some little appliques to go on a blanket.. some teddies and some angels. they took under 5 min each, so they were super quick.. coz i cant sit for too long, that has been my limit for now..

im going to try and make more teddies and put them around the edge of some of Maxs cotton wraps, so i can use it as a wrap when im feeding him.. (if i can manage to feed him myself).. ive really gotta start posting pics on here, ive been a slacky butt havent i !! lol

all the best ladies, i love the projects you are all making, will be great to see some more too!!!

ok, so i just tried to upload photos of the things i have made and my computer is on the go slow.. poor lap top has that much crap on it from my son and his ipod its not funny.. wish he wouldnt download so much music and use all the memory on MY laptop. definatley needs his own computer!! will get him to delete all his rubbish and i will post pics either later today or tomorrow at the latest.

 

im still in one piece..dont know how honestly! they got my dates totally wrong and i confronted them yesterday about it. they said i was right, went to change them and a consultant has put a block on my file, so no info can be changed!!! they cant even change my address, glad im not moving or changing my number before hes born!! one hour and a half i was in the clinic appointment for.. they think im full of myself and doing all this for attention! i screamed at them and hubby was not far from cracking it himself and they finally agreed to booking in my csection.. THANK GOD!!! so, im definatley having Max on 22nd Nov, even though by my REAL dates i wil be 42 weeks 6 days preg!! my last period was 2nd feb.. apparently the scan showed that my last period was 24th feb, SOMEONE put the wrong info in the computer!!! and unfortunatley now the stupid cow has put a block on my file they cant change it, so, i have to stick it out that long unless i labor then they will put me in.. YEAH RIGHT!! HEARD ALL THAT BEFORE!! we left the hospital with steam spewing from our ears and noses. i cried all night, got no sleep and this morning i feel terrible. just wish to god they would listen to me and believe what im saying, that im not doing any of this for attention, its all real and how they think a women can "fake" contractions and labor is beyond me!!

any way, sorry for the rant.. just thought i would give a bit of an update, seeing im having trouble uploading pics..
