Last week, I wandered into a Jonathan Adler store to drool over his bargello pillows, and I got this idea that maybe I can do something like that with crochet. I've done a little bargello in the past, and I don't enjoy it very much.
But I do LOVE to crochet. I'm not necessarily trying to recreate one of his patterns in crochet-I actually tried, and it didn't work very well-but I would like to do something that's more of a tribute to him.
His stuff is more geometric than floral, and he uses great color combinations. Does anyone have any ideas about a pattern or stitch that looks great in bright colors, but isn't a hexagon or flower?
